NeuroBytes: Nutrition's Role in Stroke Prevention

Course Description

Poor nutrition is one of the primary contributors to traditional vascular risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and obesity. Patients often know the role of diet in heart disease, but not stroke. This course will provide both patients and clinicians guidance on evidence-based nutrition interventions for stroke prevention.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this program the learner will be able to:

  • Identify evidence-based diets for stroke prevention
