Course Description

Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder that can be present in many neurologic diseases. In this video, we aim to provide a foundational understanding of dysarthria by exploring the most common types and identifying key characteristics and associated neurologic disorders to help guide you towards assessing, diagnosing, and treating dysarthria.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this program the learner will be able to:
  • Evaluate a patient for dysarthria and summarize the most common classifications of dysarthria.
