Course Description

Pregnancy is a common concern for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) given the high incidence of the disease among women of childbearing age. Managing MS therapy is a key challenge as many treatments are not compatible with pregnancy. In this video, we aim to answer common questions about the effect of MS on pregnancy to help you counsel patients through all stages of the pregnancy process, from planning for conception to the postpartum period.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this program the learner will be able to:
  • Describe how pregnancy may affect patients with MS and special considerations for management of MS for patients considering pregnancy.
