Course Description

Developmental disability is a broad term used by clinicians to describe a condition associated with motor, language, or cognitive impairment. As one in six children is diagnosed with at least one developmental disability, it is important for clinicians to know the key steps to evaluate for these conditions. This video aims to provide a framework for assessment and workup of children with developmental disabilities.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this program the learner will be able to:
  • Define developmental disability and use appropriate tools to identify patients with these conditions.
